Check-in/Check-out Policies :

• There is a lockbox on the front door which contains the key to the cottage.  We will send you the code to the lockbox a couple of weeks prior to your arrival so that you can get into the cottage.

• Please leave the keys to the cottage on the counter and lock the front door when you checkout Saturday morning.

• Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and checkout time is 10:00 a.m. the following Saturday.

Payment Policies:

• A downpayment of $400.00 to reserve the cottage must be received within  1 week of receiving your rental contract.  We will send out a rental contract.

• The remaining amount due must be sent four weeks prior to the date of arrival.

• A security deposit of $500 must be sent four weeks prior to the date of arrival and should be sent along with the remaining amount due.  Your security deposit will be returned immediately after cleaning service is finished and has verified that everything is in good condition.

• Cancellations will result in a loss of your downpayment.

Occupancy Policies:

• There is no smoking allowed in our cottage.  Smoking in the cottage will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

• We do not allow tents on the property.

• Dogs are allowed on an exception basis only. Call us if you want to bring your dog. We have an additional security deposit of $100 as well as an additional weekly charge of $100.

• There is a maximum occupancy of 12 in our cottage.  You need to recieve prior approval to have more then 12 people staying in the cottage.  Renters found to have more then 12 people staying in the cottage without prior approval will forfeit their security deposit.

Pontoon Boat Policies (if you are renting the boat):

• You are responsible for following the State of Wisconsin boating regulations.  These regulations can be found at: http://dnr.wi.gov/

• Any damages to the prop will result in a $100 charge to your security deposit.  The Waupaca Chain O' Lakes has some shallow spots that are clearly marked with buoys.
